Find out about firefighting arrangements on the site

Keep matches and lighters out of the reach of children
-
Take care in the kitchen and never leave cooking unattended
-
Keep a torch handy for emergencies
-
If you smoke, use suitable ashtrays and never smoke in bed
-
Before going to bed or leaving the caravan, turn off all appliances
-
Keep the caravan ventilated and make sure you don't block any air vents
-
Get a registered Corgi gas fitter to fit and regularly service any gas appliances

Fit smoke alarms in your home. Test them once a week, clean them once a month and change them once a year
-
Buy a Carbon Monoxide alarm from a DIY store
-
Check all gas fittings. Use arrester values on gas bottles and make sure your home is adequately ventilated
