We're excited to be opening our fire station doors again throughout the year for our station open days.
Keep an eye on this page where will share our upcoming open days and events we'll be attending.
Please park considerately when visiting our fire stations, many of our stations have limited spaces. You can find the nearest car parks at https://www.parkme.com/en-gb
5 April - Basildon Fire Station
On Saturday 5 April, Basildon Fire Station are hosting a fun fire station day on behalf of Ghyllgrove Primary School.
Come along between 10am and 3pm.
The day will be filled with fun and activities for all ages, including:
- Car wash
- Arts and crafts
- Decorating biscuits
- Face painting
- Tea, coffee, soft drinks, and delicious cakes to purchase
The day will raise money to support the school after they have had three break ins, during which many of the class electronics were stolen.

6 September - Fleet Workshops and Urban Search and Rescue Team
On Saturday 6 September, Fleet Workshop and our Urban Search and Rescue Team are hosting an open day. Come and meet our team, explore our station and find out more about how we work to keep Essex safe.
Open from 10am until 4pm.
There will be a quiet hour between 10am and 11am to support a more accessible and relaxed experience for visitors who may find the environment challenging. There will be no sirens or flashing lights and the team will keep noise levels to a minimum.
Parking: Parking is available at Kingsland Church which is across the road or there is a public car park near by. Please do not park on site, this is reserved for the less able and staff.
