Are you a wholetime firefighter from another fire and rescue service looking to transfer to Essex? If so, you can apply here
Relocation expenses of up to £8,000 can be claimed if you relocate to Essex as part of this application.
Applications open 16 July
Applications for wholetime firefighters will re open again 16 July until 15 August.
To apply, you must:
- be eligible to work in the UK
- be 18 years old on 1 February 2025
- have a full UK driving licence (manual)

You must have a GCSE pass at grade C or 4 (or above), or have attained Functional Skills (Level 2) in Maths and English.
