Woman released following road traffic collision

Firefighters freed a woman from a vehicle this afternoon, after the car collided with an electrical pole.

Crews were called to a road traffic collision which happened in White Colne this afternoon.

On arrival, firefighters reported that a woman was trapped in a car which was on its roof, following a collision with an electrical pole.

Crews worked to make the area safe, and used specialist equipment to release the casualty. She was left in the care of the Ambulance Service by 2:55pm.
