Road traffic collision - man rescued

Firefighters rescued a man who was trapped in his car following a road traffic collision on the A13 at Basildon earlier today.

On arrival, crews reported that a man was trapped in his vehicle and worked to rescue him by 6pm.

He was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
