Road traffic collision - A13

Firefighters were called to reports of a road traffic collision on the A13 this morning.

On arrival, crews confirmed that two heavy goods vehicles had been involved in the collision.

One man was trapped in one of the vehicles. Firefighters worked hard to release the man, before leaving him in the care of the East of England Ambulance Service.

The road is likely to remain closed for some time while the area is made completely safe - if you're travelling this morning, please use an alternative route if you can.
