Restaurant fire
Firefighters from Brentwood and Loughton worked with London Fire Brigade’s Chingford and Woodford crews at a restaurant fire in Buckhurst Hill today.
Crews were called to a restaurant fire in Queens Road, Buckhurst Hill at 3:15pm and reported the restaurant was heavily smoke logged.
Firefighters worked to evacuate staff in the restaurant as well as from offices above the restaurant.
Crews worked together to extinguish a fire in ducting inside the restaurant.
Watch Manager Glenn Jackson from Loughton Fire Station said: “Colleagues from Essex and London worked well together to extinguish the fire and safely evacuate everyone.”
