Hot air balloon collides with power line
Firefighters helped to give first aid and make the scene safe after a hot air balloon collided with power cables in Earls Colne this evening.
Firefighters were called to a field near Newhouse Road, Earls Colne at 7pm after a hot air balloon had landed in a field after colliding with power lines.
Crews worked to cool cylinders in the hot air balloon and worked with UK Power Networks to make the scene safe.
Firefighters also gave first aid to a casualty who was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
