Firefighters rescue two people after car collides with wall
Firefighters rescued two people after their car reversed into the back of a low wall, trapping them in the vehicle.
Crews from Stansted and Newport were called today at 3.06pm to Station Road, Stansted.
Firefighters used stabilising blocks and airbags to clear the rubble and free the passengers by 3.40pm.
Both casualties were left with the Ambulance Service.
Watch Manager Claire Harrington said: “The crews worked quickly and professionally to remove the rubble around the car and get the casualties out safely.”
