Firefighters rescue two horses after a road traffic collision
Firefighters rescued two horses from a horse box following a road traffic collision on the A130 earlier today.
Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on the A130 at Sadlers Farm at 2:02pm today.
On arrival, crews reported that two vehicles had collided leaving two horses trapped in a horse box.
Firefighters worked alongside a vet to calm the horses while cutting away at the horse box to free them.
The horses were safely rescued by 3:42pm and left in the care of a vet and their owners.
