Fire in derelict building

Firefighters were called to a fire in a derelict building on the A414 in Harlow.

Fire Service Control receieved over 20 calls reporting the incident.

When fire crews arrived they reported that smoke could be seen coming from the roof space of the single storey building. Firefighters had quickly extinguished the fire by 7:30pm.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
