Fire in an agricultural building

The fire has been extinguished. One crew is on scene monitoring and dampening down any hotspots. 

Update 8.30pm 

Station Manager Scott Fretton said: "The building is completely alight and firefighters are making steady progress, but expect to be here overnight. There is still a lot of low level smoke in the area so if you live nearby please keep your windows and doors shut." 

Relief crews from Harlow, Colchester, Clacton, Grays, Brentwood and Orsett will remain to monitor the scene throughout the night. 

There are no reported injuries. 

An investigation will be carried out when the fire is completely extinguished.

Firefighters are currently at the scene of a fire in an agricultural building near Marsh Road, Burham on Crouch. 

Crews are working to surround the fire. There is a lot of smoke coming from the scene, if you are in the nearby area please keep all your windows and doors shut.
