Bungalow fire

An investigation into the cause of the fire found it was accidental.

UPDATE 11.45am

A fire investigation is underway following this morning's bungalow fire in St Lawrence.

Crews were called at 6.02am and worked hard to fully extinguish the fire by 8.36am.

Crews are dealing with a bungalow fire in St Lawrence this morning.

Firefighters from Burnham, Tollesbury, Maldon and Chelmsford's Aerial Ladder Platform were called to Mountview Crescent today at 6.02am.

Station Manager Jason Gould said: "Crews found a well-established fire affecting a detached bungalow. The fire is under control and crews are working hard to extinguish it."
